Beautiful condition, stunning Cinnabar Red with black leather, only 92,159 miles. This is a three owner CA car sold new at Concord BMW in 1989, no accidents, no mechanical issues in superb condition. Present owner since 2004. This beautiful M3 has been well cared for and has not been track-run. The car is original except for Tokiko shocks and springs (lowering the car one inch) and an Evo steering wheel. (Note: Original equipment steering wheel and shocks/sprigs are with the car.) The car even has the original stereo and speakers, its MSRP sticker and its tape head cleaner cartridge.

There are no oil, or fluid leaks, the car drives wonderfully, no rattles, squeaks or jounce. All service records go with the car. Its last major service was mid 2005 and the E36 Timing chain tensioner update and replacement done in 2006. Tires are almost new G Force 205/55/R15 with less than 2500 miles. AC blows cold, all switches operate windows and sunroof correctly. Brakes are excellent. The only known fault on the car is the green and/or orange “service lights” are out on the dash display. The car drives wonderfully and is in superlative condition for its age and mileage.

These E30 first evolutions of the M3 are highly sought after cars. They are wonderful drivers, very light steering with tremendous balance. This was the last year for the non-airbag cars with the operational rear side vent windows. The cars produced 193 HP and some 170 ft lbs of torque with a 6750 RPM redline. The transmissions are as good as they get the Getrag 265. If you are looking for a nice first version of the M3: this is a fantastic car!
