| Here is a very nice unique Lancia Fulvia S 1.3 showing 130KM finished in Red. The car is registered in California as a 1969, but is a Series II car with the much desired five speed manual transmission: thus the car is most likely a 1970 production. This Lancia drives very well, and has had a lot of recent mechanical work done and is cosmetically quite nice and presentable. The engine has lots of pull for a little 1298cc V4 and its sounds wonderful, the motor revs to redline easily, the transmission is excellent and the clutch has good take up. The body and sub frames appear excellent and there are no major signs of rust or corrosion. This Lancia is consigned to Driveline for sale by its current private party owner.
This little Fulvia is being sold as-is, with no implied or express warranties. We note in this write-up what we have been told has recently been done as maintenance on the car and these items all appear to have been performed. We will also do the best we can to identify items we see that may need attention. The car has been in the San Francisco Bay area for at least 6 years, we know. The paint is approximately 5 years old and was done by the preceding owner: the work is good but not superb; there is a crease in the left rear that occurred post painting and has not been fixed. (See photos.) Otherwise the paint has nice luster and shows quite well. The engine bay is also painted, as part of the mechanical work described below, and this appears to have been done more recently. We understand the seats were recovered at the same time the car was painted and the quality of that work is very nice. They are vinyl. The headliner was also replaced and is very nice. We can find no major structural damage repairs on the car, and when driving the car find it tracks nicely and has clearly benefited by some of the suspension work done below as it is very tight and handles crisply. Faults we noted are the lights are not operational, wiring is in place but they do not turn on and we have not diagnosed the problem. We have also noted the small crease in the rear bodywork near the taillight. The bumpers are not original, but the period looking nerf bars are quite nice and fit the car well showing the Fulvia styling to its best. Other know issues are the heater and cold air vent levers are not operational and fuel gauge and tachometer are not working. This is a fun, very desirable little sports coupe and one of the last “true Lancia” cars this fine Italian manufacturer produced. It needs to go to an appreciating new owner to complete the last little bits to make this a stunning example. Please call if you have any questions. Note: because the exterior photos were taken with direct sunlight, the true color is not shown very well and the paint appears to be faded. However, that is not the case. We will try to do a re-shoot if possible. |
