| 1960 Porsche 356 B Coupe (early production) quite original condition, matching numbers, very nice, two owner car; the last owner bought the car in 1968. Older restoration, nicely done, no rust in floor pans (redone), or rockers, or front spare tire well, or rear engine valence, this is a solid car with nice cosmetics and it runs perfectly!
Recent valve job, (guides and valves not just and adjustment,) machined rockers, new pushrod tubes, new clutch, new clutch cable, new axel boots, new battery, full service and much more. She runs strong, shifts great and has good brakes. This is a wonderful little car with a nice patina of age, it has a number of period options such as the Hella light bezels and the aluminum kick panel covers.
Known issues: Odometer not working (gear in gauge is broken,) slight pits on window trim chrome, clock not running consistently, slight crazing on paint near radio antennae, two baby moons hub caps have rust, dime sized rust bubble on left door edge, and the driving lights are not working (I am testing to see if I can get these going.).
This car was sold new in Paris by Sonauto and imported by its first owner then sold to a engineer on the Peninsula who had it since 1968, his son told me that he made the updates like the kick panels, but I believe that Sonauto did the gauge cluster adding the ammeter and oil pressure gauges as they are correct VDO gauges and have the same patina as the rest of the instruments. The AM/FM radio is an early 1970’s era installed by the owner.
